Newly updated dog friendly spacious Gulf shores beach house. Sleeps 9

Salty LIfe is our 3 bedroom townhouse in Gulf Shores. Its newly updated and on a cove off of Little Lagoon and across the street from Gulf Shores beach. We have a semiprivate heated pool on the bay that is shared with only 2 other units. Our house is two stories with a large open floor plan on the main floor. We have a large living area with two couches, a full size futon and a 65 inch smart TV. There is a dining table for 6 and a large island with four bar padded barstools. The kitchen is extra big with brand new stainless appliances. There is a half bath on this floor as well.There is a wall of windows and french doors leading out to a large private covered deck.

The deck has dining for 6 and a comfy outdoor sectional. The deck overlooks the pool and cove and has peekabo views of the beach across the street. There is also a second covered deck off of the master suite upstairs.

Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master has a brand new king bed with a luxury hybrid mattress. All beds have upscale cotton sheets and quilts. There is a comfy nook with a desk and bookshelves. The french doors lead out to your own private deck. There is an ensuite bath with a tub/shower and turkish cotton bath towels. There is a second bath with a tub/shower in the hall. There are two more bedrooms. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom three has a queen/twin bunk. All bedrooms have smart tvs.

Outside is my favorite place, the heated pool. Most of the time we have it to ourselves as only 2 other units share the pool. We have an area under the house to hang out with a charcoal grill and cornhole in the closet to use. The storage closet is loaded with beach gear for you to use. Umbrellas,chairs,sand toys,boogie boards,pool floats, a beach cart, paddles, lifejackets, cornhole all free for you to use.
We have two kayaks and two paddleboards for you to use too. No extra fees! Of course you use them at your own risk and you need to use a life jacket on the lagoon. The lagoon is a great place to fish and you can crab in our cove too.

Our neighborhood has lots of quaint beach houses and smaller condos with just a few high rises on beach, Its a great, safe place to walk or bike. We are less than a mile from the Hangout and the center of Gulf Shores with lots of shops and restaurants. The Pier 33 Grocery store is directly across the street along with West Beach Coffee House. You can just walk across for your morning latte.

Although we are across from beach the Public beach access at 6th street is about a 6 minute walk down the street. There are restrooms and showers there. We have included a beach cart too. You can also drive and park at the beach if you dont want to walk.

We love dogs and bring our two mini doodles when we head down. Gulf Shores Beach is not pet friendly but we take them to a little locals beach area on Little Lagoon at 10th street to run and swim in the shallow water. Also Fort Morgan beach is pet friendly and Gulf State park has great trails. Our property has sand spurs so we recommend taking them for a walk to potty. We are working on getting rid of the sand spurs soon.

If you have a boat you can put in at the public boat launch on lagoon and leave it in the water at our place. Our boat ramp needs some work on it. Little Lagoon is 11 miles long and a great place for jet skis, pontoons or small fishing boats.
